Thirty-six changes shipped in this release. Teammates can now use tools that live outside Loquent, US carrier registration for business texting became an assistant-guided flow, and the WhatsApp Business channel landed. The AI Agents area is also now called Teammates, matching how people actually talk about it.
Connections and tools
Your teammates can reach beyond Loquent into the systems your business already runs.
- Tool servers — connect hosted MCP servers so a teammate can use their tools during a turn.
- Browser sign-in — connect a server by signing in through your browser; the resulting credentials are stored sealed.
- Per-teammate tool control — decide exactly which server’s tools each teammate is allowed to use.
- A Connections hub — one place to manage connected servers, with a picker on each teammate.
- Outbound connections — push new lead events to a partner endpoint you configure.
Business texting compliance
US carriers require registered campaigns for business texting. Loquent now walks you through it instead of leaving you with a form.
- Assistant-guided registration — a teammate collects the details, files the registration, and advances each stage as approvals land.
- Sole proprietor support — one-time-code verification with a clear 24-hour window.
- Policy URLs and resubmission — supply privacy and terms URLs, read the rejection reason, and resubmit in one step.
- Verdict notifications — owners hear about carrier approvals and rejections with a path to fix what was rejected.
WhatsApp Business
The WhatsApp Business channel arrived in the platform through the Meta Cloud API. Rollout stays gated per workspace while the channel is validated.
- Send and receive on WhatsApp — bound to teammates like any other channel.
- Honest onboarding — every signup outcome is handled with a real state, lifecycle updates, and a fix-and-resubmit path for a rejected business name.
- Coexistence — connect a number already in use in the WhatsApp Business app, with history and media import options.
Social channels
- Simpler connect flow — a cleaner Facebook and Instagram connection experience.
- Pick the responding teammate — bind a teammate to inbound Instagram DM and Messenger from Settings.
- Message-history sync — pull recent Instagram and Messenger history into the conversation view.
Contacts
- Field groups — organize contact fields into collapsible groups instead of one long list.
- Where the contact came from — a grouped field view with a source panel showing the origin of the record.
Under the hood
- One extraction engine — call analysis, message enrichment, plan instantiation, daily briefings, the AI Builder, and speaker identification now run on the same backbone.
- Safer tool defaults — a tool that has not been catalogued is only offered to operators, never to a customer-facing teammate.
- Sealed credentials — connection credentials are encrypted at rest, and outbound tool traffic is guarded against requests to internal addresses.
