Questions & answers

The practical questions, answered plainly.

Start with control, channels, data, or the invitation process. Every answer below is also the answer represented in the page’s FAQ structured data.

The essentials

01
Will it sound like a robot?

Call the live demo line and hear it directly. A phone teammate uses the voice and instructions chosen for its job, while the business facts and boundaries come from the brief and knowledge you provide.

What if it says the wrong thing?

Suggest is the default, so message replies wait for your approval. When a teammate reaches a decision outside its instructions or authority, it can pause and ask you a plain-language question instead of sending a reply on its own.

I need to stay in control.

That is the design. In Suggest, the teammate drafts and you send. Autonomous is an explicit choice you turn on per teammate, and you can return it to Suggest at any time.

How does it learn — and can I undo what it learned?

Edits to drafts and answers to escalations can shape what a teammate learns. Its Memory area shows durable facts and learned policy; you can require approval for policy updates, undo changes, roll back a policy, and pin facts the teammate must not change.

Channels

02
Which channels can it handle today?

Documented live communication channels are phone calls, text messages, business email, Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, and web chat. Lead forms and gated pages are website capture surfaces that create or identify Contacts. WhatsApp is not presented as live.

Do you support WhatsApp?

Not yet. WhatsApp is shown as coming, not as an available channel. The live channels are listed in the answer above and on the Channels page.

Your data & your number

03
Is my customer data safe?

Loquent keeps business work within the organization and uses it to provide the product. For the governing details on collection, use, retention, vendors, and your choices, read the Privacy Policy.

Who can see my conversations, and do you train AI on them?

A teammate’s business knowledge, Contact context, drafts, and summaries are used to serve the organization. The Privacy Policy is the source of truth for how data is processed and which service providers are involved.

How does the business phone number work?

You can search for and acquire a business number inside Loquent, then assign separate voice and text teammates to it. Some countries require address or regulatory documents. If you need to move an existing number or discuss future portability, confirm that process during onboarding.

Will you ask for my phone number on this site?

No. The invitation form asks for a first name and email, with optional last name and business context. It does not ask for a phone number or credit card. Calling or texting the demo line is a separate action you choose.

Getting an invitation

04
Why is it invitation-only?

Loquent is in closed alpha, so access is limited and reviewed rather than open self-serve. The invitation list lets us understand the operating need and contact businesses as space opens.

What does the invitation process actually look like?

You submit a first name and email, with optional business context. We review the request and use that email for invitation updates as space opens. No phone number or credit card is required on the invitation form.
