Fifty changes shipped in this release. Agents started working on text, not only voice; permissions became a real system rather than a role label; and businesses bringing their own telephony account could import the history they already had.

Text agents

  • Reply suggestions — when a message arrives, the agent drafts contextual options for your team to review and send.
  • Instructions in plain language — describe how the agent should respond and it produces structured instructions.
  • Test before going live — simulate a conversation so you know how it will behave.
  • Per-number assignment — different agents on different numbers, independent of voice assignment.
  • Auto-reply or suggest — choose per number whether the agent sends or drafts.

Team and permissions

  • Attribute-based access control — permissions enforced across every API endpoint and fifteen resource types.
  • An interface that adapts — controls a member is not permitted to use simply do not appear.
  • Team invitations — invite colleagues by email, review pending invitations, and revoke them.

Messaging

  • Real-time updates — messages and delivery status appear without a refresh.
  • Media attachments — send and receive images and files, with a built-in viewer.
  • Contact sidebar — full contact details next to the active conversation.
  • Replies go out the right way — a reply always sends from the number the contact originally used.

Contacts

  • A unified feed — every call and message with a contact in one timeline.
  • Enrichment from messages — details are extracted from message history to cut manual entry.
  • Assignment and ownership — assign contacts to team members with a view of ownership across the organization.
  • Last-contacted signals — aging indicators and relative timestamps.
  • Note taxonomy and search — classify notes by visibility, origin, and area, and search across them.

Telephony

  • Import your history — bring your existing call and message history from your own telephony account, safely re-runnable.
  • Per-number webhook configuration — point specific numbers at Loquent without touching the others, with one-click restore.
  • A guided connect flow — credentials are validated before they are saved.

Platform administration

  • A super-admin area — organizations, system health, key figures, and maintenance actions with a full audit trail.
  • AI cost per organization — usage logged across every AI call site with a breakdown by model, feature, and provider.
