Callers greeted by name on GPT-Live
A GPT-Live teammate starts every call knowing the caller and your business: name, stage and local time, your hours and address, and a fresh contact summary.

Yesterday’s release let you pick GPT-Live 1 for your teammate’s voice. This one makes sure it knows who it is talking to from the first word.
Know the caller
- Greeted by name — on GPT-Live, your teammate opens with the caller’s first name and knows their stage, their last touch and their local time.
- Your business on every call — hours, address, main line, website and team availability reach the voice model when the call starts.
- Deeper questions go to the record — anything the opening brief does not cover is looked up while the call goes on, and your teammate never reads a number aloud.
A summary that stays fresh
- Rewritten after every conversation — each contact’s short summary now comes from the same memory your teammates use: plain facts, 500 characters at most.
- Sensitive details stay out — clinical, financial, date-of-birth and ID details are never written into it.
Under the hood
- No dead air — if a response fails mid-call, your teammate says a short recovery line instead of going silent, up to three times a call.
- Other voice models unchanged — calls on Realtime and Gemini models behave exactly as before.
Everything in 2026.9.12 stays live.
