Forms and files in the conversation

Send an intake form from the thread, watch the Contact open and answer it live, and reach every file they sent — from a phone, too. Events fold to one quiet line.

  • messaging
  • intake
  • files
  • mobile

A Leader standing in front of a customer could not open that customer’s files on a phone at all, and sending an intake form meant leaving the conversation. Both are fixed, and the thread itself got quieter.

Intake forms, without leaving the thread

  • Send a form from the composer — a Send-a-form control sits beside the attachment button, on desktop and on a phone. Held back on an internal note, where a link would never reach the Contact.
  • Send a form from the sidebar — the conversation’s Contact Info panel carries the same button contact detail has. Both open one dialog.
  • See when they open it — a quiet centred line appears in the thread the moment the Contact opens the link, before any answer arrives.
  • See the answers — a card in the thread carries every answer with its real question, in the order the Contact saw them, plus any files they attached. Images open in the lightbox.
  • Live, and durable — the card appears on an open thread without a reload and survives a reconnect. Editing a form later no longer makes past submissions unreadable.
  • Your teammate reads real questions — a submission replayed to a teammate used to read as an internal id and an answer. It now reads the question the Contact actually answered.

Files, everywhere

  • Files is a top-level tab — second in the conversation rail, and a pill in both mobile tab tracks. It used to be nested two levels down on desktop and absent on a phone.
  • Same permission everywhere — every new surface follows the existing file permission, so a member without it sees no Files tab anywhere.

A quieter thread

  • One line per event — a form submission or a teammate’s side-conversation now reads as a single row: what happened, to what, and how much is behind it. Tap to open in place; the count is always visible, even at phone width.
  • News opens itself, history stays folded — an event that arrives while you are watching renders open; the same event after a reload renders collapsed.
  • Lightbox paging fixed on mobile — the previous and next arrows sat off-screen at phone width, on message attachments and sales images too.
  • Bigger tap targets — every pill in both mobile tab tracks meets the 44-point touch floor.
