Instagram, Messenger, and web chat

Four changes shipped in this release. Conversations that were happening in other apps came into the same inbox, and the website got a chat that answers.

Instagram and Facebook Messenger

• A shared foundation — one connect flow and one client powers both channels, with verified webhooks and room for the channels that follow.
• Instagram messages — inbound and outbound, with contacts resolved automatically.
• Messenger — full messaging with profile enrichment, delivery and read receipts, and image, video, and file attachments.
• Visible everywhere — distinct channel icons across the composer, the conversation feed, and the filter bar, and both channels included in message activity.

Web chat widget

• One embed — a small vanilla script with isolated styling, an auto-reconnecting connection, markdown rendering, and typing indicators.
• Managed in the app — create and configure widgets with the embed code ready to copy.
• Branded — colors, greeting, position, and display name to match the site it lives on.
• Contact collection — required, optional, or off, with automatic deduplication by email or phone.
• Domain restriction — an allowed-origin list with wildcard support prevents use elsewhere.
• In the same inbox — widget conversations appear alongside text, email, and social.

Calls

• Contact navigation — call details show the linked contact as a link, with a clearer metadata layout.
• Tag filtering — filter calls by contact tags, combined with the filters already applied.

Analytics

• Platform usage tracking — privacy-safe identification with no personal data, capturing eleven key actions from contact creation to message sent.
