2026.9.5.2
The release that shipped the release
A pipeline repair that put guided onboarding, connected-domain forms and the smaller app live. No product changes of its own.
- reliability
Release 2026.9.5.1 built correctly and then never deployed: a queued release build was cancelled by a routine merge, and the deploy step skipped itself two hops downstream. This release repairs both and carries that release’s code to production.
Under the hood
- Releases and everyday merges no longer share a lane — a merge to the main branch cannot cancel a release build waiting behind it.
- The deploy step runs when it should — the check that skipped it now runs on every event and cannot block a build if it fails.
- Closed pull requests stop their own checks — merging or closing a change cancels its in-flight verification instead of letting it finish for nothing.
- Build caches are recognised correctly — a nightly sweep no longer removes a workspace’s own cache, which had cost a full rebuild for no reason.
Nothing changes on screen. Everything in 2026.9.5.1 is live as of this release.
