Reactions, and a teammate that thinks

A thumbs-up from a contact lands on the message it belongs to, on every channel. Choose how hard each teammate thinks, read its reasoning, and approve drafts in-thread.

  • sms

Two things contacts do all the time finally look right in Loquent: react to a message, and say STOP on a social channel. And your AI teammates become easier to direct — you choose how hard each one thinks, you can read its reasoning behind every reply, and when you ask it to send something mid-conversation it drafts, reads back, and waits for your go-ahead.

Reactions land where they belong

A 👍 or ❤️ from a contact is a fact about one message, not new traffic.

  • A pill under the message — a reaction shows as an emoji pill on the bubble it belongs to, on SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram, instead of arriving as a separate “Reacted” line in the conversation.
  • The inbox says what happened — when a reaction is the newest activity, the conversation row reads “Reacted 👍 to your message”.
  • iPhone and Android alike — iPhone Tapbacks and Google Messages reactions resolve to the message they target, including older Tapbacks whose quoted text had been cut short.
  • Live, like everything else — a reaction updates the one bubble it belongs to the moment it arrives, without counting as a new message.

A teammate that thinks as hard as you ask

  • Thinking effort, per teammate — a new setting beside the model picker: Auto, Off, Light, Balanced or Deep, offered when the chosen model supports reasoning. Existing teammates stay on Auto, which changes nothing.
  • Read its reasoning — each reply carries a collapsed Thought for Ns chip you can open to see how the teammate got there. It’s for you only — never part of the outgoing message, never fed back into the next turn. The same chip appears above a teammate’s private reply in the side-channel lane.
  • Ask it to send, in the thread — when you hold the conversation, mention your teammate and ask it to send: it stages a draft, reads it back in full, and sends only once you approve. A teammate running on its own with nobody holding the wheel still sends immediately.
  • Follow-ups that can’t deliver stop trying — a scheduled follow-up on a channel that can never carry it from a scheduled wake used to re-arm every day. The teammate now closes the follow-up and escalates to you instead.

Messenger and Instagram

  • STOP is honored — a contact typing STOP or one of its variants in a Messenger or Instagram DM is now recorded as opted out and not messaged again on that channel, the same as on SMS and WhatsApp.

Reliability

  • Errors are tied to the release that caused them — every server error the team sees now carries the exact version that produced it, so a fault you hit is traced to the build behind it rather than guessed at.
