Upgrade to a paid plan in one step
An Owner whose workspace our team set up can now switch to a paid plan through checkout, flat plans read per month, and a failed change says what to do next.
- billing
- plans
An Owner can now move to a paid plan from any workspace, including one our team set up, and the price they confirm reads the way they are billed.
Switching plans
- One step to a paid plan — a workspace our team set up for you had no billing account yet, and Switch to Pro failed there. It now opens checkout and sets up the billing account along the way.
- Prices that read the way you pay — flat plans are quoted per month in the switch-plan dialog and the upgrade prompt, not per seat. A per-seat plan keeps “/seat/month”.
- A plain message on failure — if a plan change fails unexpectedly, you see “We couldn’t change your plan. Please try again, or contact support if this persists.” instead of a technical error.
Under the hood
- Checked end to end — a workspace set up the way our team sets them up was switched to Pro through checkout with a test card, and came out active on Pro with its credit allowances.
